PLANT - COSMOS: JAPANESE KIIRO

A subtle yet striking cosmos from Japan. The elegant petals are the lightest pastel shades of yellow, cream, rose and peach. The 4-foot tall plants make soft clouds of soothing color, perfect for the back of the border and lovely in arrangements. A totally unique and different color in cosmos that is beloved by gardeners and pollinators alike!

PRO TIP: Drought tolerant. Water regularly while establishing, then only during dry, hot spells. Pinch the leader at about 12" to encourage branching and more flowers. Dead head flowers for longer season. Excellent cut flowers.

PRO TIP2: Harvest when buds are cracking, but haven't fully opened in order to prevent insects from pollinating; which will help stretch the vase life by a few days. Flower preservative is recommended.
