The Blot pepper comes to us from Eastern Europe close to Russia. ... It has this name for the colorful blotches of burnt orange and purple that appear on the Blot pepper. The plants produce average bell pepper size peppers. They are extremely sweet, juicy and crunchy with no heat at all. A wonderful snacking and raw eating pepper, adding dazzling color to salads, and well suited to cooking too.
Mid season variety. Plant height is 60-70 cm. Fruits are elongated blocky, thick walled, weighing up to 8 ounces. When fully ripe, fruits are bright orange color with purple spots and streaks, very beautiful. Peppers are tender, juicy, sweet. High yielding.
PRO TIP: WHEN PLANTING IN CONTAINER OR RAISED BED ADD 1 TBSP OF EPSOM SALT AND ORGANIC FERTILIZER INTO THE SOIL.
